Airing It Out With Ratty Maty
Your Health Is Vital
In 2021, Ratty Maty knew something was wrong. After months of painful digestion problems and losing weight, he finally learned he had Crohn’s disease, which was even causing hair loss.
This led him to a crossroads: continue to lose his hair, or cut it and let it grow back stronger?
Hair Loss and Crohn’s Disease
From Losing Hair To Big Air
A replenished, reinvigorated Ratty Maty returned to The Longhairs HQ, bigger, stronger, and with a lot less hair. After getting treatment, cutting his hair and learning how to manage Crohn’s, he put weight back on, his hair started regrowing, and he’s back to looking like a BMX beefcake.
He even set sail over El Moreno and El Rubio’s manes.
We talk about his life-changing ordeal with Crohn’s disease, hair loss, wins and losses, and mustering the confidence to pull off big tricks with BMX Pro Ratty Maty on The Longhairs podcast.
