The Global Warehouse Bunker HQ
A Journey Through Spaces
Over the last two weeks we’ve been moving into our new HQ in Barrio Logan. Moving day was beset with obstacles, which El Moreno fumed about in a legendary rant.
Since The Longhairs was founded our team has worked in a motley of spaces and locations. From our studios in Little Italy and the days of Round Two Creative Group, to El Moreno’s garage and working remotely, to a single office in Chula Vista, before expanding into dual offices.
FINALLY, since the old studio where we literally fulfilled orders out of three cardboard boxes of Hair Ties For Guys, The Longhairs are UNITED under one roof. It’s a place our unified team can grow and execute on our core vision and values for the next five years, all in San Diego’s vibrant neighborhood of Barrio Logan.
Creative and Cultural Barrio Logan
Just southeast of downtown San Diego, brilliantly colorful murals, exquisitely classic low-riders and authentic Mexican eateries headline Barrio Logan’s artistic community. Its rich cultural tradition helped shape San Diego landmark Chicano Park, home to the largest collection of outdoor murals in the United States and focal point of the Chicano Civil Rights Movement.
We’re proud and humble to become part of this historic neighborhood as we continue building and influencing community from San Diego outward.
Expanding In Spirit
If moving day was a calamity, the video documentation was masterful, painting a strikingly vivid narrative of The Longhairs’ journey through physical spaces. As the square footage has expanded so has the spirit; just watching you can feel a palpable energy reverberating off the freshly-painted warehouse walls.
A must-watch for longhairs at heart—plus your invitation to The Longhairs Warehouse-Warming Party.
