Reflecting On Family

In Celebrate by El Rubio25 Comments

In a sad coincidence, El Moreno and El Rubio both lost grandparents in the last week.

We thought we’d take a moment to remember them, and for all of us to reflect on our families.

  1. Thanks Chris for posting the picture of Grandma. That was taken on (or near) the beach in Carmel. WOW – was she beautiful – and I got to behold her captivating face and gracious heart 24/7 for 55 years!!!! And how she loved her little El Rubio!!!

    Love,
    Grandpa John

To the Young Family: Thanks for all the wonderful comments!
    Que Dios te bendiga!!!

Comment of the year, Gramps. Glad you got to see this. And thanks for being grandma’s right-hand man for 55 years.

Lots of love from The Longhairs.

  2. Sorry to hear sad news, condolences to both of you. Lost my (98 year old Grandmother) a couple of years ago, really miss her.

  3. So very sorry for both of your losses, family is the greatest assets and support system we shall ever have in this life. You are both in my prayers and thoughts.

  4. As the initial pain begins to subside, the great memories as well as the celebration of their lives, takes over.

  5. I am so sad for your loss. How fortunate to have had them for as long as you did, and for the relationship you each shared with them. I didn’t know Edward, but I suspect he loved his grandson beyond words, as I know Grandma Linda did. Much love to you both.

  6. Sorry for your loss guys, I lost both of my grandparents before I was even 18. I’m sure they were proud of the brand you guys created!

  9. Words cannot describe the pain in the passing of a loved one. I’m sorry for both your loss…
