Interview With A Swedish Ninja Warrior
Oskar Örn: Parkour Practitioner, Freerunning Athlete and Swedish Ninja Warrior Competitor
In this installment of the Longhairs professional series we had a video chat with Oskar Örn, a professional Swedish parkour athlete, freerunner and competitor on Sweden Ninja Warrior.
First question, what the hell is parkour? Ok we had to look it up too, but recognized instantly. From Parkour on Wiki:
Parkour is a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Practitioners aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement, and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation.
This definition leaves out flipping and spinning, in which Oskar is proficient. See him in action in one of his videos, and his segment on Sweden Ninja Warrior:
We had a dope interview with Oskar, talking about growing up in his nordic homeland of Sweden, his athletics, and of course long hair.
Listen in, then follow Oskar Örn on his YouTube channel and social profiles.
Truly amazing- Oskar is a marvel and beautiful to watch! Expect to see these moves in the halls of 2400 Kettner.
