El Moreno’s 3-Year Hair Update
How do you know when you’ve become a serious hair guy?
Is it when your hair hits your nose? Inches past your chin? Makes the glorious connection with your shoulders? Or how about past your nipples? That’s got to be it, right?
That’s SERIOUS!

What if you go the entire length of your body like our world-record holding friend Zahab?
That might just make you a serious hair guy hall-of-famer! The truth is, there is one thing you have to do to become a serious hair guy.
Make the Commitment to Yourself
You become serious the moment you make the commitment to grow long hair. You’ve told yourself this is something you want to achieve, and you’re gonna go for it.
You’re embarking on the journey to let it grow and LET IT RIDE!
You know it’s not going to be easy, you may have even tried previously and failed. When you make this commitment you are signing up for discomfort, the awkward stage, and unknown challenges.
That’s serious, and a serious commitment to yourself makes you a serious hair guy.

The Road Ahead
Now just because you made the commitment doesn’t mean you’re a full-blown longhair. You have to earn that badge by completing the journey of growth you committed to.
Yes, long hair lives in the heart, we often say that. But flying the flag (your hair)? That can only be earned!
It’s how you and the world know you stuck to and fulfilled your commitment.
The beautiful thing about the hair growth journey is that not only are you going to change in appearance, but you are going to change from within. You will learn a great deal about yourself by overcoming obstacles and dealing with naysayers, and with each stage your hair will act as a journal of growth.

For annoying reasons today I have to cut my mane. But watching this video reminded me that I can restart this journey anytime. See y’all again at 2025. Keep them flowing
Oh no, Carlos! Why did you cut it? Start growing now and come to the Great Cut in 2024!
Hola Pelo Largo!
Was going through the videos and didn’t come across any that spoke or demonstrated anything pertaining to hairstyling tips for long hair and/or hair texture. I always had short hair until my accident in Nov 2020 and now I haven’t had one in 18 months. Booyah!
How do you know when to go in for a trim or thinning or shaping and without setting my head back 8 months.
I’m wanting the Gregg Allman look circa 1980.
Thanks for all the informative articles and videos. I’ve been sharing your videos with mothers who have been friends for years and have been encouraging their 20 something sons to grow their hair long. These moms are 70’s Rockers and dig long hair. It’s my niche!!!
I need more of your business or referral cards.
Yo Ken! You can get more referral cards here: https://blog.thelonghairs.us/referral-cards/
Right on! Keep up the great representation of the long hairs! Thank you for being a great company with great morale and composition for positivity in the long hair world.
